ASSISTANT HR OFFICER

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum Grade 12.
  • Any HR and/or labour law related qualification(s) will be an advantage.
  • Minimum 3 years’ relevant experience as HR generalist, administration, recruitment, IR and/or site agent.
  • Strong administrative and analytical skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Strong people and communication skills.
  • Advanced computer skills in MS Office Suite.
  • Professional image.
  • Be able to work in a team and under pressure.
  • Valid driver’s license with own transport (Code B/EB).

WORK DESCRIPTION:

The successful applicant will be responsible for all generalist HR functions e.g. HR administration and record keeping, employee assistance, assistance with recruitment, industrial relations, site agent responsibilities, etc. and help to maintain and develop HR systems, policies and procedures.

MECHANICAL DESIGN DRAFTSMAN

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum Grade 12 with Maths and Engineering Graphics and Design and/or National Engineering Diploma or Apprenticeship.
  • Minimum 4-7 years’ experience as mechanical draftsman in petrochemical or mining industries.
  • Knowledge of Micro Station V8i, Auto Cad or Inventor experience will be an advantage.
  • Proficient in MS Office.
  • Leadership and organizational skills, be able to work independently and in a team, self-starter.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Be able to work under pressure.
  • Valid driver’s license (Code B / EB) with own transport.

ASSISTANT MECHANICAL ENGINEER

ASSISTANT MECHANICAL ENGINEER

For Piping Engineering Division

Reference:  2019/005

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum of B.Eng (Mechanical) or B.Tech (Mechanical) degree.
  • Experience in detail design, drafting or modelling will be an advantage.
  • Leadership and organizational skills, be able to work independently and in a team, self-starter.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Valid drivers’ license (Code B/EB) with own transport.

WORK DESCRIPTION:

Assistant engineers will work in the Piping Engineering Division and will be exposed to the detail design and engineering of new plants and of solutions to problems experienced with piping and pressurized equipment in the petrochemical field. Design work will involve the use of various software tools and will also require the engineer to perform calculations based on first principles.

Learnership in Drawing Office Practice 2019

Qualified candidates are hereby invited to apply for a one year Learnership in Computer Aided Drawing Office Practice.

Minimum Qualification Requirements:

  • Grade 12
  • Mathematics  with a minimum of 50% (Please note that Maths Literacy will not be accepted)
  • Technical Drawings with a minimum of 50%
  • Physical Science will be an advantage

Successful candidates need to be available from January 2019
Only candidates between the ages of 19 and 25 will be considered

Preference will be given to candidates from previously disadvantaged backgrounds.
